I have MSI GT60 2QD with a 970m. Whenever I install a driver from the Nvidia website Optimus does not work correctly. It switches for Windows User Interface things such as when I right click on the desktop and click 'Next Desktop Background' instead of staying on the Intel card. It also happens when I open the Action Center, check the battery status, and sometime just using the file explorer.
