Asus Rog Drivers Windows 10

Decided to upgrade to 10 from 7 home prem. 7 worked perfectly. Before updating got & installed all updates for hardware & software programs that I use.cloned the drive to an intel ssd then took out original drive installed clone; everything worked perfectly as it should; then I updated to win 10 home version and that too worked almost perfectly;had to install a couple of older programs and that went alright because they function perfectly.the problem occurs ( timing is 20 seconds either way) 10 minutes after the first boot of the day. Hi Normand, Welcome to Microsoft Community. From the above description, I suspect that the issue might be due to Intel SSD.

The drivers of Intel SSD might not be compatible with Windows 10. I suggest you to visit Intel SSD website and check and download the latest driver for Windows 10. Also, I suggest you to perform clean boot and check. Note: The article For Windows 8/8.1 will work for Windows 10 as well. DISCLIAMER: Please go through the section: How to reset the computer to start as usual after troubleshooting with clean boot of the Kb article to boot the computer in normal startup after fixing the issue. Hope the information helps, if you have any further queries, feel free to post.

After upgrading to windows 10 from win7, my laptop are missing some features, like backlight in the keyboard, and some of the functionskeys do not work anymore. The missing backlight is the biggest issue, as the letters on the keys are hard to see, as they are designet for backlight. During POST the light is there (and also if I enter BIOS-setup), but as soon as windows 10 is beginning to load, the light goes out, and the functionkeys to enable it don't work. Also the functionkeys for Volume up/down, and Brightness down of the screen does not work (brightness UP does work??!??). I can't seem to find a driver that fix it. Can anybody help?

ThanksThank you. This laptop is NOT on my specs, as it is just a working-PC. My gamerPC is what I have in my specs:-).

Well, it did solve the issue, but it gave another problem Now, when the laptop are goping to sleep or hibernate, and it wakes up again, the keyboard don't work. None of the keys works! That is until I plug in an USB-sender for my wireless keyboard to another PC, the keyboard on the laptop works again. I can take the USBplug out again at once, and the keyboard on the laptop works fine until next sleep/hibernate. If I plug in a USB-pen, it still not works, so my guess is, that Windows has to 'see' a keyboard to let the buildin keyboard work.

Can this be solved by a driver? If yes, which one? I have tried all the Utilities I can find on ASUS' web-page, but without luck. Computer Type: Laptop System Manufacturer/Model Number: HP Pavilion dv6-6c10us OS: Win_8.1-Pro, Win_10.1607-Pro, Mint_17.3 CPU: AMD A6-3420M APU (Vision) Motherboard: Hewlett-Packard 1805 (Socket FS1) Memory: 6 GB DDR3 @ 665MHz (9-9-9-24) Graphics Card: 512MB ATI Radeon HD 6520G (HP) Monitor(s) Displays: 15.6' LCD (1366x768) & 22' LCD W2072a Screen Resolution: 1600 x 900 Keyboard: Logitech K520 (wireless combo) Mouse: Logitech M310 (wireless combo) Hard Drives: Hitachi Travelstar 640GB 5400RPM SATA II Browser: Chrome & Edge Antivirus: MS Defender Other Info: Main:.......... I have now tried this in an elevated prompt: powercfg /h Off exit Reboot Then put the laptop to Sleep via sleep-button.

Wake it up again via PowerOn button. And the keyboard still does not work. I then have to either reboot or 'connect and disconnect' an USB keyboard to get the buildin keyboard to work again. As English is not my first language (you might have guessed this already:-) )will you help me with a text I can send to Microsoft with this error? I really want them to understand the problem, both for me, but allso for other users with this model from ASUS.
