We would suggest you to install the drivers using compatibility. To know how to install a program using compatibility, refer to the below article: Note: This article is designed for Windows 7, use this as a reference. Hope this information helps, for further assistance please reply. The version of the drivers mentioned in my post are specifically designed for Windows 10 - there should NOT be any compatibility problems with the driver set. Hi, Just a thought, have you checked if the speaker settings are set to 5.1 or 7.1 instead of stereo? If not, Look at the icons near the digital clock for the Realtek speaker symbol (brown) and double left click to get settings window.

If it's not there, right click on white speaker symbol and select Playback Devices. Then Speakers, the select Configure and on the next screen, tick the box for Full-Range Speakers. Gma X4500 Driver Windows 10. I hope it helps. Kind regards, Mark Thanks for thinking of that.

I have checked prior to posting here and yes, the speakers I have and the choice of speaker type is correctly set to Stereo - there is no Full-Range Speakers choice listed. I am running SuperMicro PDSGE with Realtek AC97 audio. After install of Windows 10 (Version 10.0.10240) yesterday, my computer blue screens with RTKVAC64.SYS a s the problem. Uninstalled audio device through safe mode, no Realtek drivers available from Realtek's website work.

Audio worked just fine in Win7 prior to installation of Windows 10 Release yesterday 7/30/2015 (Version 10.0.10240). Device Manager does not find any compatible driver available and does not allow manual installation of driver. I ran into the same problem and followed the same steps. I was able to fix it by updating the driver directly from the device manager. Here are the steps I followed: • From the start menu, go to Settings, Devices, Device Manager. • In the device manager, find and expand the section 'Sound, video and game controllers' • Right click on the entry labeled 'Realtek High Definition Audio.'

• Select 'Update Driver Software. Ctl 460 Driver Windows 10. ' • Select 'Search automatically for updated driver software.' • After selecting this, an updated driver was installed and my sound was working. On my Dell Precision T3610, the bad driver was dated and had a version of 6.0.1.7535. After updating the driver, it was replaced with driver version 6.0.1.6075 dated.

I dunno, there have been quite a few Realtek HD Audio.cab files on the MUC that have been x64 only. Also the existence of a setup.exe doesn't mean there will not be a.cab version of it. I've had several.cab files that contained a setup.exe, all the versions on the MUC also contain a setup/install routine if you download them from Realtek.Of course you can build a cab file of anything if you want to. Personally I can't remember ever downloading a RT package from MUC that contained a setup routine but if you say so I'll gladly take your word for it. Either way, I quite like version 8147. Culled it from that 'other' site you may well know about.
