Lsi Hda Modem Driver Windows 10

I found a way to tell, if the modem component is inside the notebook or not: In the BIOS under System Configuration under Built-In Device Options, there is an entry 'Modem Device' if a modem is built into the notebook (if it is not the entry will not appear). The same, by the way, is true for the integrated camera (even though in that case it is pretty obvious.). So I now know that a modem is present in one of my two notebooks. However I still do not know how to get it to run.

I have an LSI MegaRAID 9266-4i controller card. I'm trying to find the corresponding WHQL driver for the 64-bit version of Windows 10 Professional. I need this driver at Windows 10 installation time. The latest driver package available on the LSI web site is MR_WINDOWS_DRIVER_6.9-6.709.12. Best Driver Scanner For Windows 10. 00-WHQL and this package DOES NOT include a driver for Windows 10; it only goes up to Windows 8.1 and this driver (megasas2.sys) has a creation time stamp of 2015-10-02 8:35 AM. Is it possible to install and use the Windows 8.1 version of this driver on Windows 10?

If so, any tips or guidance would be tremendously appreciated. For what it's worth, I have found LSI (now owned by Avago Technologies) to be unhelpful in answering this question.
