This is just a warning to those of you who are attempting to upgrade your W520 to Windows 10. Once you do that, you'll no longer be able to use the wireless display feature (Intel WiDi) because Intel doesn't support the Intel HD Graphics 3000 on-board graphics card in Windows 10 and thus Lenovo can't provide a driver for it. The last supported Intel WiDi driver available through the Lenovo support site is for Windows 8. I sure hope Intel creates the necessary WiDi driver for the thousands and thousands of computers running the Intel HD Graphics 3000 on-board graphics card. I can guarantee you that there is no WiDi support for any laptop using the Intel HD Graphics 3000 onboard graphics processor because Intel themselves state that they don't support it in Windows 10 and don't make a driver for it.

My post was created to warn others that they'll lose the wireless display option if the switch to Windows 10 because it isn't mentioned anywhere before you do the upgrade. I'm hoping enough people will get mad about this decision and change Intel's mind to make the drivers.

If they don't, many people are going to be stuck between the choice of upgrading to Windows 10 and losing wireless display capabilities or sticking with Windows 8.1. I personally couldn't stand Windows 8.1 and was happy to see it go, but now I have no wireless display capabilities. I have 4 laptops using the Intel HD Graphics 3000 and so I can't use any of them with Windows 10 if I want wireless display capabilities.
