Hi everyone, as the title suggests I have an Asus P6T Deluxe Socket 1366 and I just installed a fresh copy of Windows 10 Pro.In device manager I'm only missing the.

Apparently Windows 10 installs the wrong Marvall ethernet driver for the Asus P6t MB. So I have been told to turn off automatic updates and then manually the correct Marvall driver. Do I just install the driver manually, or so I need to do something like put Windows 10 in Windows 7 compatibility mode first. This is what I have been told to do, but I can't see why I can't just install the correct driver in Windows 10 mode. But I think none of the above matters because I'm going to be using a Wi-Fi USB dongle which is Windows 10 compatible.

So I reckon this means I can leave on the Windows 10 automatic updates, and forget about the ethernet Marvall driver. What do people think?' Hi Kaivey, If you will be using the Wi-Fi dongle Only, then you may choose Not to install the LAN driver and everything should work fine. Most of the USb Wi-Fi dongles run on generic drivers or contain the drivers in them, so they do not require any driver installation as such. You may refer to the manual of the dongle for help with it. To sum up the conclusions, I would like to say that you will be able to use the USB dongle even if you do not install the LAN drivers.
